Deployment Reliability Assessment

A structured review of how often you ship, how often you undo those ships, and whether reliability holds after each change lands.

What this assessment examines

Deployment frequency tells you how often change reaches production. Rollback rates reveal how often that change must be withdrawn. Reliability shows whether users still get a steady service after each release. We treat those three readings together, because a high ship rate with silent rollbacks is not the same story as a careful cadence with rare undoes.

How sessions run

We begin by agreeing what “a deploy,” “a rollback,” and “a reliability incident” mean in your organisation. Then we sample concrete releases — not abstract averages — and walk the path from commit to production with the people who press the buttons. The final workshop walks leadership through findings without slides that hide the uncomfortable cases.

Who benefits most

Teams that already collect pipeline history but disagree about what the numbers mean. Organisations preparing for a larger release programme. Groups recovering from a season of emergency patches who want a calmer baseline.

Engagement contract

For
Platform leads, SRE managers, and release owners who need a shared reading of deployment frequency, rollback rates, and reliability.
Outcome
A written assessment linking release cadence to rollback behaviour and post-deploy reliability, with ranked recommendations your teams can act on in the next planning cycle.
Included
Kick-off and scoping call; stakeholder interviews; sampling of deploy and rollback records; pipeline walkthrough; reliability signal review; written report; readout workshop.
Not included
Tooling licences; permanent embedding on your team; rewriting pipelines; 24/7 incident response; vendor negotiations.
Provider
A DevOps Connect assessor with release operations experience, supported by a second reviewer for the final readout.
Process
Discover definitions, sample recent releases, map rollback triggers, compare reliability signals, draft findings, facilitate readout.
Duration
3–4 weeks
Delivery
Remote-first across Korea, with optional on-site days in the Jeollanam-do office region or your Seoul/Busan workspace when travel helps.
Preparation
Nominate a release owner; grant read access to pipeline history; share rollback runbooks; list known reliability incidents from the last two quarters.
Constraints
