Cookies
This page explains what cookies are, which ones devopsconnect.digital may use, and how you can manage them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, keep essential functions working, or understand how pages are used.
Types we use
Essential cookies support basic operation such as remembering your cookie consent choice. The site will not work correctly without them.
Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate page use. They run only if you accept optional cookies via the consent banner. Rejecting them does not block browsing, forms, or engagement inquiries.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| devopsconnect_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for the consent banner | 1 year (localStorage) | DevOps Connect |
| _dc_session | Essential session continuity for static hosting edge cases | Session | DevOps Connect |
| _dc_analytics | Optional aggregate page-view measurement after consent | 6 months | DevOps Connect analytics |
Managing cookies
Use the banner’s Accept or Reject controls on first visit. Clearing site data in your browser removes the stored preference and will show the banner again. You can also block cookies in browser settings; essential storage for consent may still be required for the banner to remember a choice.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may cause network requests to Google when pages load. We do not load third-party advertising cookies. If we introduce an external analytics provider later, this table will be updated before activation.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics cookies does not remove access to engagements, contact forms, or content. Blocking all storage may cause the consent banner to reappear on each visit.
